What is Art Paws?
Art Paws is Reno’s premier pet event of the year, which helps 2 animal non-profits and one art organization in one day! Held each year on the 3rd Sunday in July, 10am-4pm at McKinley Arts & Culture Center Park.
As Artown’s only “bring your dog day" Art Paws paints a pet-friendly picture of downtown Reno! A fun and unique art themed, canine-friendly, community festival, this free event celebrates canine culture by combining the arts with our animals. More than 40 local vendors, artists and animal aid organizations come together each year to celebrate all things pet…and help animals in need.
Art Paws Inc. will give 3 grants this year!
In 2021 The following organizations received grants:
- Arts for All Nevada
- TMBF Biggest Little Dog Park (Artie's favorite Reno Dog Park)
- Wylie Animal Rescue Foundation
Over the past 20 years, the private organizers have donated more than $135,000 back to the pet rescue and art non-profit community.
Art Paws occurs during the month of July as part of the Reno annual Artown festival, July 17th, 2022. Kerri @ 775-225-3334 for more information.
